Wrapping up with school, getting ready for finals, graduation, pool parties and summer... yay... I decided it was time to post another And These Are A Few of My Favorite Things. I should have posted more of these since my first one, but I haven't got around to it yet. Which brings me to another topic, FAQ, requests... etc.

If there are any requests or questions about this blog, a post, etc... just post or email. No big deal. And if I get some of the same questions, I'll start to compile an FAQ. It's not so necessary yet since this is a nobody blog that probably only Sam reads (hi Samo) but the few questions and emails that I have gotten are starting to be repetitive so soon... FAQ will be created probably.

{One of my favorite books- which I have just read for the third time... nerd- is out on DVD! So yeah- excited about that. Check out Beastly by Alex Flinn and the new film starring Alex Pettyfer (total eye candy), Vanessa Hudgens, and Mary Kate Olsen..... or Ashley...... not quite sure anymore.}




{These sandals.... As Good as Gold from Lilly Pulitzer..... have been my go-to wedge heels for a few weeks now. (Especially with my up coming Florida trip!) UNFORTUNATELY!!! on the Lilly Pulitzer site, they don't have them in gold... and I am WAY too lazy to take a PICTURE of them and UPLOAD them. I mean like, whoa, talk about effort!}

Some Beautiful Ugliness

There's a whole lot of "ugly" in the world. A whole lot of complaining, put downs, and altogether rudeness to one's self and towards others.



Where's the beauty?

What happened to being beautiful? Glamorous? Pretty? Gorgeous? Alluring? Appealing? Cute? Even NICE?!

I mean really... when was the last time somebody said, when every other girl was critiquing herself and putting herself down, that she looked beautiful? When really?

I've never heard one of my friends look herself in the mirror and whisper to herself how beautiful she looked.

What happened to being unique, being yourself, and being beautiful?

Here are some women in the world who look ugly or wear ugly clothing, but inside (and in reality) are some of the most gorgeous women I've ever seen.

Reyanne Graff from My So-Called Life: Beautiful... wore weird clothing.

Betty Swarez from Ugly Betty: Beautiful without the braces, glasses, hair do, and scary clothing (reality).

Quinn Pensky from Zoey 101: Beautiful minus her glasses and capability of turning lip balm into sleepy gas.
(Hah, I watched this episode last week early in the morning!!)

AND SO MANY MORE!!! So many girls and women who may look odd or out there but EVERY GIRL IS BEAUTIFUL! INSIDE AND OUT!

No matter what your style, what your race, what your personality.... YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!

And I dare each girl who reads this (which probably isn't a a lot but either way) (and this is probably a complete shot into the dark) to list ten reasons why your beautiful and keep the list somewhere that you'll be able to read when something goes wrong. Ten reasons aren't a lot and I think that just by doing this, self confidence and self realization of beauty will SOAR up!...... I dare you all.

And remember, you are beautiful.

Some "Redneck" Culture

As telling my friend I would be spending my spring break in West Virginia, he immediatly stated that I should have a blast with all the rednecks I meet. So hanging with my redneck friends, I took some pictures of the sites, the things, and the odd things I saw. My favorite picture was of a sign (above) outside by a store in the square of downtown Virginia. "You Are Beautiful!" <-- I'll come back to this in another post...

Boho Skirts: Yay or No-way?

Searching in H&M yesterday I realized that although bohemian, flowy-blowy skirts are in- they look really awful on the racks! Maybe if your a supermodel with a crew of stylists and designers running around you trying to make you look good for the shoot, you can pull it off. But if your an average person... it's going to take a lot of effort to pull this off.
